Hi, my name is Amanda Schrama and I’m emailing your regarding job interest. I came across your facility online and became very interested. I am a recent graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. I have a Bachelors of Science and a degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. If you have any available positions or know who I can speak with about possible career opportunities I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you. Have a wonderful day.
Hi,
Happy 4th of July! Will be going over to the Taylor Street Farm this morning which is in the lot just west of the proposed National Public Housing Museum on Taylor and Ada in Little Italy. My 90 year old friend, Lula Winters, and I will be planting in our raised bed – one of almost 40 plots in this wonderful, new urban community garden. I invite you to come out and see this garden and would like to introduce you to our fearless and intrepid founders – Claudia Mazola and Sally Freeman. It is truly wonderful! Best, Hollis
Check out the action of WeFarm America. This organization is wrapping up work at Orozco Middle School in Pilsen (18th and Damen). Fifteen raised beds, trellising, and rain catchment; it’s quite a scene. Talk to the founder Seneca Kern.
Hi, I live in Evanston and I’m thinking about having my own backyard chickens. Does anyone have an email of someone living in Evanston that I could ask questions of?
Thanks!!!
